AGC TENWEK HOSPITAL KAREN CLINIC RECRUITMENT 2026: MEDICAL OFFICER VACANCY

AGC Tenwek Hospital and the Tenwek Cardiothoracic Centre are currently seeking a qualified, dedicated Medical Officer to join their Karen team and grow together with the clinic.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver evidence-based inpatient and outpatient medical care, with a strong focus on cardiovascular cases.

• Provide comprehensive clinical evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure high standards of patient safety and care.

• Handle emergency medical situations and critical care support as required.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Must hold an MBChB degree from a recognized institution.

• Must possess a valid KMPDC registration and a current practicing license.

• Must be Basic Life Support (BLS) certified; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification serves as an added advantage.

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of post-internship clinical experience.

• Previous clinical experience or exposure in cardiology, emergency medicine, critical care, or internal medicine will be considered a strong plus.
