West Kenya Sugar Company Ltd, a leading player in East Africa’s sugar industry recognized for its advanced manufacturing technology, high production capacity, and commitment to developing talent, is currently seeking a qualified and experienced professional to fill the position of Deputy Security Manager.

JOB SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement efficient security strategies to safeguard the organization's assets, protect the company, and maintain a secure work environment.

• Formulate and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures.

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate security personnel and emergency response plans.

• Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and investigations, implementing timely corrective actions.

• Manage access control systems, CCTV infrastructure, and specialized security equipment.

• Collaborate closely with HR, IT, law enforcement agencies, and external security service providers.

• Conduct continuous security awareness training for employees and monitor security risks to recommend improvements.

KEY REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field.

• Possess at least 5 years of practical experience in security management, law enforcement, or the armed forces.

• Strong working knowledge of CCTV, access control systems, and modern security technologies.

• Up-to-date knowledge of Kenyan security and safety regulations and compliance standards.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting investigations, security audits, and risk management.

• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

• High levels of integrity, confidentiality, professionalism, and physical fitness to respond effectively to emergencies.
